      Candice Groves, CEO/ Therapist

 

 

 

Candice is a licensed LPA and LCADC clinician working in the recovery field for the past 9 years. She founded and opened Redeemed and Restored in January 2019. She states: " I am blessed God called me to use me in this capacity". When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, two daughters, miniature dachshund and shopping. 

Lindsey Higgins, Program Manager/ Therapist

Lindsey is a licensed clinical social worker who is married with two beautiful children.  She lived in active addiction for 10 years until she cried out to God and he answered her cry for help.  She feels that God led her every step to work at the facility and that he continues to guide in her daily life. Through her sobriety she has been a vessel for God.  Her hobbies include anything outdoors- CrossFit, hiking, kayaking, and boating.

Jackie DeMarco, Case Associate

Jackie is from Chicago and currently resides in Hopkinsville with her husband.  She has one daughter and one bonus daughter, along with a beautiful granddaughter. She has a Bachelors of Social Work from Murray State University and has worked in the substance abuse field since 2013.  Jackie struggled with substance use for over 10 years and surrendered her life and will over to Jesus in 2011. She loves working at R&R, being the hands and feet of Jesus, and sharing freely the love of Jesus with each client. She truly believes the mission, "Changing Lives through Christ", will continue to change families and help strengthen communities.

Sabrina McNichols, Nurse

Sabrina is a RN with a decorated history of serving and caring for others.  She has an AA in Applied Science and a BSN from Murray State.  She retired from being a Trigg Co. school nurse in 2017.  She has experience at Western State Hospital, Jennie Stuart Memorial Hospital, The Inspector General's Division of Licensing and Regulation, and owned and directed Small World Day Care.  In 2019 she was challenged and rewarded as she began her career at R&R.  She loves being able to help clients learn how to begin a new life. She says her goal as a Christian and a nurse is to try to imitate Christ's humility as described in Philippians 2:1-8.

Neysa McGowan, Office Manager

Neysa joined the R&R team in January 2020. She grew up in Florida where she attained her background in service and administrative management from 2009-2017. She has also spent the last decade working and volunteering in education. She loves spending time with her family and being outdoors. She is thankful for her past and the path that has prepared her for an open door at Redeemed and Restored. She has a heart for serving and is looking forward to seeing what God has in store for her at Redeemed and Restored.

Kathy Glover, Therapist

Kathy is a licensed professional counselor who joined the Redeemed and Restored team on the first day the doors opened. Kathy is also a full-time counselor at Cornerstone Christian Counseling. Kathy is also a member of the American Counseling Associate (ACA), The American of Christian Counselors (AACC), a Certified Prepare/Enrich Facilitator for pre-marital and marital counseling, and a Certified Post-Abortion Counselor. Kathy and her husband, Adam, have been married for 25 years. Their family traveled in ministry for 13 years before he became Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Hopkinsville. 

Adam Glover, Facilities Manager

Adam is the Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Hopkinsville. He and his wife, Kathy, have five children together. He is the facilities manager at Redeemed and Restored. He uses the talents God has given him to minister to the men at Redeemed and Restored. Among a favorite for the men is when he leads them in songs with his son. His message  to the men and anyone who will listen is:"God's desire is for each of us to live the fully restored life that He promises in His Word- a life of happiness and joy, free from the bondage of sin, addiction, and shame. 

Shaye Watts, Therapist 

Shaye became a Certified Social Worker in 2020 after she retired from teaching in 2017.  She is married with two daughters and two grand-babies. She drew back to God in 2003 after being faced with hardships in her childhood and turning to drugs and alcohol. She loves helping others people and giving to others what God has freely given to her.  When she is not working her hobbies are gardening, reading, and decorating.

Chelsey McAllister, Therapist

Chelsey graduated from APSU with her Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2016 and is now a LPCC. She loves spending time with her husband and son at their home in Pembroke, working in her garden, tending to her chickens, and go hiking. She loves working at R&R because Jesus is the true healer of our lives and there is no other feeling than to receive His love. 

Ashley Gorrell, Therapist

Ashley is a licensed certified social worker and one of the Therapist at R&R. She was born, raised and resides in Logan County, Ky. She has a Masters in Social Work from WKU and a half decade of experience working with men and women. She loves that she gets to be a small part in giving voices back to so many that feel that they have lost their voice. from the moment she waked in the door at R&R, she felt like GOD was leading her there to use her story to do his work. 

Joe Foster, Adult Peer Support Specialist

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Joe is a peer support specialist from Hopkinsville with twenty years of experience in mental health and two years in substance abuse.  He is married with four children.  He loves working at R&R and sharing about how good God is.

Mike Robinson, Recovery Aide

Mike is a Recovery Aide at Redeemed and Restored.  He tells his story of 28 years with drug use followed by 11 influential years of sobriety.  He is a living testimony to the clients of R&R and is passionate about seeing people gain the understanding that recovery is possible. God changed his life in 2009 when he gained a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  Mike loves fishing, long walks, building stuff with his hands, his kids, and especially spending time with his grandkids who bring so much joy to his life.  

Chris Hill, Recovery Aide

Chris is a happily married father of four. For over fifteen years he struggled with substance abuse, suicide and poor mental health. He was in and out of boys homes, county jails  and had no idea that there was life outside of addiction. In 2015 he tried to take his own life with a pill bottle first and then later on a bridge. He called to God and God answered by sending a pastor to the bridge that day.  It was then in 2016 that he accepted Christ as his Savior. He feels his job at redeemed and restored is not a job at all, its the fulfilling of his purpose and calling in life. He now pastors a church in Dawson springs full time and work full time in recovery. He gets to watch God be a light in many men's darkest hour. He has been clean since Oct 2016, and since  the day he met Jesus his life has forever been changed.

Dathan Cox, Recovery Aide

Dathan was raised in Hopkinsville and married with two children. God has afforded him the opportunity to use his life experiences to help someone else.  He is a member of All Nations House of Prayer where he serves in the music department.  His hobbies include playing the bass guitar, reading, and spending time with family.

Tati'anna Brison, Recovery Aide

Tati'anna is a Recovery Aide from Hopkinsville and currently working on her nursing degree. She loves being used of God and having the opportunity to witness. She enjoys being able to serve by simply listening, singing, encouraging, and showing love and compassion. 

Scott Johnson, Recovery Aide

Scott resides in Morgantown, KY with his wife Cricket; they have 6 children. Scott was a former client of R&R in 2019. During his treatment he surrendered his life and will to Christ; he has not looked back since that day. Scott has a real passion for Jesus and absolutely loves to do his work and spread his love. He also loves the outdoors, kayaking, hiking and the beach. "Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. ... And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. To him be the power for ever and ever." 1 Peter 5

Wayne Wilson, Recovery Aide

Wayne is a Recovery Aide and has been working in the healthcare field for the past 9 years. He is married and loves showing the love of God everyday at work. When not working, he enjoys bowling and shooting his guns. 

Jarmarius Bussell, Recovery Aide

Jarmarius is a Recovery Aide from Hopkinsville that loves building rapport with clients and helping them any way he can. He became a follower of Christ five years ago and has a three year old son. He enjoys gaming, basketball, golfing, and disc golf when he is not working.  

Lilah Groves, Therapy Dog

Lilah is from the Christian County Animal Shelter. She is approximately 2 years old and loves to cuddle. Her hobbies are taking naps on the couches and the clients. She enjoys head pets and being told she is a "Good girl".
